A wee bit of fall

Sunday, September 7, 2008

And I do mean a wee bit. I have not collected very many fall materials. I definitely want more pumpkins. Alas, I am afraid I will have to wait for some nice ones to go on clearance for next year. I love all of the ivory painted ones that I am seeing. I may continue to try to find places to put these lovely pine cones I keep on finding.

Hey Sarey!
I didn't know anyone had read my blog.
I know you're excited about fall, but I am hella dreaing the cold.
The internship is going OK so far. I've gotten to do a lot of fun stuff, and I've only been like a month.

Not quite a reference, but I did think of that book after I wrote the title. Mai asked me if I was a vegetraian because I read that book. I'd never even heard of it before. But it sounds pretty interesting. The last thing either of us needs is a diet book, though!

I love what you've done for fall. It's very pretty. I'm going to have to collect a lot more pinecones to display in interesting containers!

Like your "wee" bit of fall on the built-in your Dad did for you.

I plan to find some cheap orange pumpkins and spray paint them white.

I love the trim work that your father did. It is all just so beautiful. What amazing workmanship and talent he has.

Love your fall touches too. The birdcage with the pine cones is my favorite.

That should be "such amazing workmanship and what a talent he has."

I absolutely love the little pinecones. So much that I am gonna go outside and hunt some down for myself. I was thinking about spray painting some. We should all get together soon and do that. The way you lined up those pumkins was so creative. I bet your house looks so warm and cozy for fall right now!
